Padma Shri award has been given to 53 person at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 21 March 2022. President Ram Nath Kovind gave the Padma Shri award. Swami Sivananda also got Padma Shri award for Yoga and he was born in 1896. All the winners are listed in below table.

2) Prof. (Ms) Badaplin War
President Kovind presents Padma Shri to Prof. (Ms) Badaplin War for Literature and Education. She is a Professor in the Department of Khasi, NEHU. She is an expert on Khasi linguistics, literature, culture and translation.
3) Dr. Jayantkumar Maganlal Vyas
President Kovind presents Padma Shri to Dr. Jayantkumar Maganlal Vyas for Science and Engineering. He is a veteran forensic scientist. Maganlal is also the founder VC of National Forensic Sciences University. Jayantkumar has 48 years of experience. He is India’s senior most serving forensic scientist.
4) Smt. Durga Bai Vyam
President Kovind presents Padma Shri to Smt. Durga Bai Vyam for Art. She is a Pardhan Gond artist hailing from Madhya Pradesh. She has worked hard to regenerate the tribal art form. Her paintings are mostly drawn from the folklores and stories of her tribe and their myths.

President Kovind presents Padma Shri to Prof. Kamlakar Tripathi for Medicine. He is a retired Professor of Medicine from the Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU. He is recognized for his academic excellence. Kamlakar is also serving people free-of-cost.
7) Prof. Raghuvendra Tanwar
President Kovind presents Padma Shri to Prof. Raghuvendra Tanwar for Literature and Education. He is Professor Emeritus, Kurukshetra University and Chairman of ICHR, New Delhi. He is widely known for his study of the partition of India, mainly the Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir.
8) Smt Ajita Srivastava

9) Dr Ajai Kumar Sonkar

22) Dr Garikipati V.B. Narasimha Rao

23) Dr Sunkara Venkata Adinarayana Rao

28) Smt R Muthukkannammal
President Kovind presents Padma Shri to Smt R Muthukkannammal for Art. She is the only living Sadir dance exponent in India and serves as a repository of knowledge about the history of Bharathanatyam. She has given over 1000 performances in the last 75 years.
29) Dr Guruprasad Mohapatra (posthumous)
President Kovind presents Padma Shri to Dr Guruprasad Mohapatra (posthumous) for Civil Service. He is a career civil servant, also he succumbed to covid related complications while working through his illness to coordinate oxygen supplies in the country during the second Covid wave.
30) Shri Darshanam Mogulaiah
President Kovind presents Padma Shri to Shri Darshanam Mogulaiah for Art. He is an artist who sings folk and heroic songs by playing Kinnera, a 500-year-old instrument made of bamboo.
31) Ms Avani Lekhara
President Kovind presents Padma Shri to Ms Avani Lekhara for Sports. She is the first Indian woman to win two medals in the same Paralympics and the first Indian woman to win Paralympics gold.
32) Ms Vandana Kataria

33) Ms Tara Jauhar

42) Prof Aditya Prasad Dash
