Journalist threat to Wriddhiman Saha on his whatsapp number. Wriddhiman Saha reveal this on his twitter account.
Saha writes on his twitter handle :
“After all of my contributions to Indian cricket..this is what I face from a so called “Respected” journalist! This is where the journalism has gone.”
Journalist writes to Shah on whatsapp :
” Do an interview with me “
“Will be good”
“if you want to be democratic then I won’t push”
“They choose one wicket keeper. whoever is the best. You try to choose 11 Journalists which is not the best according to me. Choose whoever can help the most.”
” You did not call. Never again will I interview you. I don’t take insults kindly. And I will remember this.”
” This is wasn’t something you should have done. “
Wriddhiman Saha also writes on his twitter handle:
1/3- I was hurt and offended. I thought not to tolerate such kind of behaviour and didn’t want anyone to go through these kind of bullying. I decided I will go out and expose the chat in public eye, but not his/her name
2/3- My nature isn’t such that I will harm anyone to the extent of ending someone’s career. So on grounds of humanity looking at his/her family, I am not exposing the name for the time being. But if any such repetition happens, I will not hold back.
3/3- I thank each and everyone who has shown support and extended their willingness to help. My gratitude.
Support From Big Cricketers Saha
Many cricketers and BCCI came in the support of the Wriddhiman Saha. All them said, BCCI should take action against this incident. Saha should revel the name of the Journalist.

There is a verse in the Bhagvad Gita which translates to- “Tolerating injustice is as much a crime as committing injustice. It Is Your Duty To Fight Injustice.” It is important for Wriddhiman Saha to name this person. It will definitely set a good example.

Saha Controversy With BCCI:
Saha was dropped from the international cricket teams. Saha said in an interview that Rahul Dravid called him and said that ” Wriddhi, I don’t know how to say this, but for some time now the selectors and the team management have been wanting to look at new face. Because you are not our first choice wicketkeeper, because you have not been playing for a while, we want to use this time to groom a younger wicketkeeper“
If BCCI were going to consider me after this series then why would Rahul Bhai say, you can take ‘some other’ decision if you want?

Chairman of the selection committee of Indian Cricket Team Chetan Sharma also said to Saha:
Chaten Sharma said same as Rahaul Dravid said to Saha. Saha asked Chetan Sharma if this decision was for just this series or for the upcoming series againt Australia and England too. Then Chetan paused for couple of seconds and said, “From now on, you will not be considered”
Then Saha asked to Chetan Sharma why, is it because of my perfomance and fitness or is it because of my age? Chetan said fitness and performance were not an issue. ” We want to look at new faces and if we bring in a new face, we can not drop him without playing him.”That is why he said now on”

Sourav Ganguly (the BCCI President) also send a congratulations message to the Saha when he scored 61 runs against New Zealand in kanpur despite being injured. Dada (Sourav Ganguly, the BCCI President) said Saha you did not need to worry about anything till he is there but latter one saha is dropped from indian cricket team.

Wriddhiman Saha was born on 24 october 1984 in Saktigarh, West Bengal (India). Saha started his cricket carrier in 06 Feb 2010 vs South Africa at Vidarbha Cricket Association. This was test match.Saha played his last match against New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium on date 03 Dec, 2021. This was also test match. Saha holds 96 ICC test ranking on date 02 march 2022.
